Join us on Wednesday, September 19th from 4:00p-5:30p at Preston Hollow Park (9000 Thackery Street) for this year's Playgroup Kick-off Event!
Let the kids play on the playground and in the sandbox while you enjoy meeting other PHECA moms who will be in your same playgroup. Light snacks will be provided for the children.
If you have already requested to be part of a PHECA playgroup this year, we hope you will bring your kids and join us at the park for this low-key and fun meetup that will provide everyone a chance to connect with their playgroup and new playgroup leaders. You will even be able to exchange contact information with your designated playgroups in order to make communicating and scheduling play dates easier.
If you haven’t opted in to be part of a playgroup yet, there is still time to do so! Just login at www.pheca.org with your email address and password and update your profile to reflect the specifics of your child’s age and playgroup category.
Playgroups are designed to give PHECA moms an opportunity to meet and get to know each other with children who are the same age. Each playgroup leader will be organizing playdates for their group for the year ahead, but typically playgroups will meet up at least once per month. Meet up locations and activities will vary throughout the year.
This year, we are offering weekday play groups (based on age and academic year), as well as weekend/evening play groups. Hopefully, everyone can find a group that works with their schedule!
